With nearly 10 years of Math tutoring experience, she deeply understands the local Math curriculum. She has built a bank of resources, including study guides, reference sheets, quizzes, tests, practice exams, and tips and tricks for different topics. Beyond a strong grasp of the local math curriculum, Jenny's engaging personality makes it natural for her to develop genuine connections with students. As a highly experienced tutor, she is able to gauge if a student is understanding. And yes - that is possible in online lessons. TUTORING PROCESS

Some parents wonder if online tutoring can be as effective as in-person. While online classes with a large group can make it difficult for students to stay focused, students can easily engage with the tutor in a one-to-one or small group setting (with no more than 3 students per class).

STEP 1:   Initial consultation to understand your child's needs. For semi-private tutoring, please bring a friend or two. Your child may also be matched with other students with similar goals.

STEP 2:  A personalized tutoring plan is created for your child and/or the small group. For students needing support with schoolwork, students must provide school notes so that we use the same strategy taught by your child’s teacher.  For reinforcement, review, learning ahead, enrichment, SSAT test prep, or contest prep, I provide the materials. More info here.

STEP 3: Tutoring takes place online via Zoom. Students are strongly encouraged to use a stylus pen for smooth writing on the virtual board.

STEP 4: Students and parents receive continuous feedback. The tutoring plan is adjusted accordingly.

STEP 5: Your child experiences positive tutoring results: knowledge gaps are filled, deeper understanding of Math, higher grades, and confidence!
